Diana Kim is a once in a generation Creative Powerhouse and is the DEFINITION of combining Left and Right brain. Diana Has been a lifelong dancer, training since the age of 4.

Training at the highest dance echelons, Diana WAS ALSO able to balance extreme academic success, particularly in STEM fields.

ULTIMATELY Diana decided to pursue a college degree in Computer Science, studying Machine Learning at The Georgia Institute of Technology.

After Graduating, Diana Relocated to Seattle to begin working at Microsoft as a technical Program Manager, Running the Responsible AI and Ethics PRogram for Windows AI.

Outside of their corporate life, Diana rediscovered their passion for performing, choreographing, and all around creating; reuniting their left and right brain.

Now Diana enfuses all of this experience in their art, performance, and work, proving the left and right brain should not exist in isolation.

Diana Kim is a seattle based Creative. Primarily a dancer, Diana performs throughout the seattle community.

Diana Grew up in the Atlanta Area where they trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, modern, and musical theater. They have been able to receive training from dance canvas, the ailey school, and the radio city rockettes.

They have over 22 years of dance training and performance experience.

Diana also has extensive experience with precision dance styles. They competed on the mill creek high school competition dance team in pom and jazz styles and won the first ghsa state championship in 2019.

Diana cheered during their time at georgia tech spending 3 years on the team. through this experience Diana served as an ambassador for the athletic program representing georgia tech at various athletic, professional, and networking events.

Diana moved to Seattle in 2023 where they began to re-enter the dance world. Diana joined coalescence dance company and has been performing and choreographing with them since. Diana has performed with other various seattle groups during their time living in the city.

Diana as a Choreographer and Teacher:

Diana began teaching and choreographing in 2015. Diana had always been drawn to creating their own choreography, and was given the opportunity to through their high school’s student teacher program.

Diana taught and choreographed over 20 pieces during their three years participating in the program and worked with dancers ranging from beginner to advanced levels.

During their time at georgia tech, diana continued teaching and choreographing through their participation in georgia tech’s performance dance company: Dance Tech.

In Seattle Diana teaches regularly both for adult and child students. Diana specializes in teaching jazz, musical theater, and improvisation techniques.

Diana has choreographed and shown works throughout the seattle area at Coalescefest, Coalescence Cabaret, Ojak Bridge festival, and Full tilt.

Diana has been fortunate enough to receive training from the galen hooks creative program and the ztheory essentialz teacher training.

Diana is a essentialz certified instructor.

Diana as a Creative:

Outside of dance, Diana has always been interested in other creative pursuits. They have extensive experience with 2D/3D art mediums and have classical training in piano and violin.

Primarily outside of dance, diana focuses on photography and video production as their primary creative mediums. They are known for their eclectic and stylized self portraits and keen eye for framing.

Diana is currently directing a short film that was awarded the dance canvas on film grant.
